Returns
As per the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000, the Lightpro Trade offer all their customers a cooling off period. Unlike other online stores though, instead of the statutory 7 working days, we are so sure you will love the Lightpro system we offer a full 30 days!
If you wish to return goods to us during this time or for any other reason, please ring us on 0330 055 4207 or contact us by email sales@lightprotrade.co.uk. Please note all goods need to be unused and in perfect condition, unless reason for return is to replace a faulty item.
It will be your responsibility to return the goods to us at your own cost and risk. Official Returns Authorisation must be issued by us before you send goods back and please make sure a copy of your original purchase invoice is included with the return.
Once your goods have been returned and inspected you will be sent a full refund (please note we do not refund postage or carriage costs) within 5 working days. If an item is not in its original packaging and resalable condition, a reduced credit/refund will be issued. If you are returning goods that need replacement due to the items being faulty, we will try to get a replacement in the post the same day (depending on stock).
Business Sales
Any orders placed on behalf of your business will NOT fall under the terms of Consumer protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 as it will be a business to business contract. All sales are classified as final, we will not issue any refunds on goods ordered by you on behalf of your company unless faulty.
You are asked to examine the goods within 3 working days after delivery. Any claim by you based on any defect in the quality or condition (including missing items or components) of the goods or their failure to correspond with specification must (whether or not delivery is refused by you) be notified to the company within 3 days of the date of delivery.
Delivery
Delivery will normally be no more than 5 working days from receipt of order and payment. Most orders however are sent out the same day if the order is received up to our 2pm cut-off time, stock depending. Orders received after this time will be handled the day after. All orders are delivered by our chosen delivery partners, DHL or DPD Local and all deliveries must be signed for. An e-mail or text message will be sent to you the day before and on the morning of delivery providing you with an hour time slot for your delivery. If this is not suitable you can re-arrange the delivery date by following the links on the email or text message. Unfortunately the time of delivery cannot be changed, only the day.
Postage charges are for standard Second Class mail, and not guaranteed. Delivery is stated at 2-3 days but can take longer in peak times. Customers select this option at their own risk, Lightpro Trade can't be held accountable for items that do not arrive.
All orders over £100 inc VAT destined for the UK Mainland are carriage paid. Certain other areas in the UK carry a premium carriage charge i.e Scottish Highlands and Isles, Northern Ireland, Isle of Wight and Isle of Man. If in doubt please e-mail us for a delivery quote.
International deliveries can be arranged upon request. Please email us a list of your requirements and we will provide you with a written quotation including carriage costs.
Please note that since Brexit 2021, shipping to the EU Zone (including Republic of Ireland) has changed. We will supply the order free of UK 20% Vat, but you will be liable to pay the VAT on the order at your local country rate plus any applicable Customs Import Charges. You will need to supply a current, monitored email address and mobile number on the order to enable local Customs to contact you to arrange payment of the Fees. If you fail to pay the fees, the order will be returned to us and a refund raised less delivery fees incurred by us. For more information please click here.
If you are using a Contractor to install your lighting system, we strongly advise that you do not book an install date until you receive the delivery of the lights. We cannot be held responsible for any excess charges levied by a Contractor for late deliveries.
Damages/Discrepancies
We make every effort to make sure all orders are packaged up well for shipping via the DPD Home delivery network. It is regrettable that occasionally things may get damaged in transit despite our best efforts in packaging. When you receive your order please carefully check all items for damage/breakages with accuracy and notify us within 5 days of receiving the delivery, even if you have ordered ahead of time and do not plan to install them soon. Regrettably any claims after this time may not be processed.
Price
We always aim to offer our valued customers the best possible price. However, if you find the same product(s) cheaper elsewhere we will aim to price match them for you. In order for us to do this please supply us details of the pricing and where it is on offer. Unfortunately we cannot price match auction websites and Amazon Marketplace.
Warranty
Lightpro Systems
All complete Lightpro systems come with a 6 Year warranty when purchased after 1st April 2023. If purchased before the warranty period is 5 years. This includes All lights, transformers and connectors. We reserve the right to request the faulty item be sent back for testing/repair after the first year of warranty.
All Other Products
All other Non Techmar and Lightpro products come with a one year warranty.
All Warranties cover manufacturing defects only and not accidental damage or damage caused by animals.
Coastal Regions in the UK
Our lights are not Coastal Rated and therefore are not warrantied for use in these areas.
